HL2 in Europe on DVD

I checked with Game.net about whether HL2 in Europe (or atleast in the UK) would come on 1 DVD instead of 6 CD's.

worked for me. dunno y, but i read "Halo 2"......i read things wroing all the time, so i gotta re-read it a couple times before i read it correctly sometimes.

Hey its working now, and the guy who wrote the email was portuguese!!!

Good news for us europeans, i got the Dvd version of Farcry and its way bether then Doom 3 that came with 4 freakin cds..

Agree with you there, I hate it when games are on more then 2 cd;s.

4 CDs for DOOM3? WOW! my copy of Doom 3 was only 3 CDs. lol....after 3 CDs nobody really cares tho, so what i just said was totally an redundant

Isn't the collector's edition of HL2 coming out here on just one DVD?

In any event Europe always gets cooler packaging (or better formats in this case) than we do. Installing 6 CDs is a pain, I hate reinstalling UT 2004.
