Week ahead: Earnings, events hit busy season

Wall Street will be busy diagnosing the health of tech companies as earnings reports pour in this week. Among the big names scheduled are Apple Computer, Yahoo and Sun Microsystems.

Tech events are in a busy season as well. Bill Gates is scheduled to speak at Microsoft's Experience More event in Los Angeles. The software giant plans to formally announce Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Expect to also hear about a variety of other digital home efforts designed to make it easier to move media throughout the home and onto portable devices.
