"Our gallery has been updated with new screenshots from Killzone, a squad-based first person shooter based "on 20th Century warfare, with a total of 21 weapons in the game - again based on modern technology rather than neon-hued lasers - each with a secondary fire function". The single-player game tells the story of four ISA soldiers who are operating deep behind enemy lines on a near suicidal mission. At the start of the game, you will be able to choose to play as any of the four ISA, each of whom has different abilities ranging from a female stealth specialist to a burly heavy weapons expert. The other three soldiers will provide fire support - however, to preserve the narrative they can't be killed, but will retreat to safety once badly wounded. Your character will also be protected by an energy shield which recharges provided you can stay out of harm's way for a few seconds. In the works at Guerrilla Games, Killzone is expected on November 2nd, 2004 exclusively for PS2."
