DC_Final ready for release.

The official release of DC_Final occurs on the 16th of October, 2004. It will have been 252 days since we have been able to download 0.7; a slight difference from the much talked about 45 day interval. Needless to say, that at the time of publication for this preview we sit less then 24 hours away from the release.

A lot has happened since 0.7, rather then try and update you from how I saw it, I will let troybob 'tell it like it is.' I got the chance to sit down and speak with him before the release and we had an excellent Q&A session. Also AJ, DC Lead mapper and current DCF leader, had a chance to add some comments.

Sit back, grab a drink, and read on to find out their thoughts and concerns.

Yeah, it is about time. Thought they forgot about DC being busy and all with helping DICE on Battlefied 2, and their own game based on the BF2 engine. Hope it was worth the wait...

I thought there was some quote with a public apology from the DC Final Release team stating the .8 they released wasn't a final but instead a demo of the final.

im kinda confused about this file.some people are talking about it as .8 patch and others are talking about it as an addon for .7 that adds new maps and vehicals.when i installed the mod it did not install in the same directory as dc and it does not execute from same exe file.the readme also states it being a version 3 dc final.just started playing the bf1942 series so i am not even a noob yet so take it easy on me.later
