Counter-Strike: Source Update

An update to Counter-Strike: Source has just been released. Steam will update itself automatically when you restart. Here is a list of the changes:

COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE CHANGES / ADDITIONS:
Fixed %n exploit crash
Fixed smoke grenade stacking with repeating sounds
Fixed smoke grenades getting stuck in cracks and never detonating

it is saying unlocking hl2?? weird i still can't play it though. What was it unlocking. also dods download some stuff too. I'm getting confused.

I got the same thing. Also a litle confused about that because DOD and HL Source both updated.

they were just unlocking stuff temporarily for some reason.
they updated all games that were affected by the bugs :P

I found out the reason on steampowered.com furoms. evil is right they unlocked it so they could patch it. so when it says unlocking shutdown steam before it can lock it and see if you can do anything with hl2 lol.

! Anyways... I have to admit that I almost got a heartattack when I saw it saying.. Unlocking half life 2 files...

Till I realised that nothing was actually unlocked I was with a heartbeat tripled

. But then i was so dissapointed

.Are they messing with my head?

Anyways, I thought that it was all a patch thing once i read the fixxes so... At least all those annoying little kids that were using that %n thing won't be getting on my nerves anymore... They were like.. "you made me do it! Its all your fault!" Wtf did I make you do? bug me for a game that I paid for? I'm not gonna respect them at all so... THANK GOD NO MORE %n!!!

It seems the smoke grenade bug is not out of the question yet.. I just played a game, and a smoke grenade landed on a rifle. The same thing happened as before.. Just rolling around on it, and making that crappy sound all the time.

No doubt about it.. CS: Source is a great game.. Altho i think it needs alot of updates, before it is finished.

The bouncy thingy on the barrels and such. And the fact, that you cant even stand on a barrel.

The stutter thing, when you go up against a wall.

The cant shoot thing. When you "load" the grenade when about to throw it, but fastswitch to a weapon if an enemy appears. You cant shoot the first time you click. Very annoying, and gets you killed a lot.

There are tons of bugs still to be fixed.. I really hope the fix that barrel thing.And of course.. Bring back the chickens on cs_italy!

improve the hostage AI , at the moment they get stuck by dead bodies and dropped weapons

fix the sound lag that is painfully bad on Aztec

improve the net code by about 500% etc

more skins for ct's and t's

gimme my bleeding maliia map

ohh and the chickens

no updates done here and i checked... I loged in for the 1st time in a copule days .... there was no update and the size is the same...

Maybe try restarting steam completely. Or try launching cs source through steam. I'd love to fix %n and play, but I'm at work

Neon a restart of steam is required. Sometimes it takes a reboot of your PC for it to kick in however there was an update today to CSS and DODS.

I didn't get anything for DOD... Strange eh? It says I have to register... But I don't got a key... Since I bought silver.. Help?

I know mines was updated, I just never actually saw it happen, so I didn't get excited for nothing.

I have unless it was a tiny update or something the game is still 941mb, no updates shown on steam, game was at 100% @ login so i dunno.....
