"LCD displays are by no means a new technology, in fact LCDs have been around since 1968 and we see their application in most modern products. However, when we talk about LCD displays for personal computers, it wasn't until around 2002 before LCD monitors started to pose a serious competition to traditional CRTs. Though LCDs have a myriad of advantages over CRT monitors, most notably size, weight and energy consumption, their performance in terms of response time (a 40ms response time *gasp* was still considered acceptable a few years ago) and color reproduction were severely lacking."

Nice monitor.. But why in the world did they implement a carrying handle on the top.. I guess it is a question about taste, but that really puts me off. Everything else is excellent, but that feature holds me away from that product.
