Default Post Pacific Assault Director's Edition ships

As revealed two weeks ago, the once-delayed Director’s Edition of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault has established a retail beachhead in stores earlier than scheduled. Developed at EALA, the Director’s Edition is an extra-packed version of the regular version of Pacific Assault, which ships out next week. Both are rated "T" for Teen, with the Director’s Edition costing $59.99 and the regular version $49.99.

Beginning with the 1941 sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, Pacific Assault follows young US Marine Tommy Conlin as he fights hits way through some of the most heated battles of the Pacific Theater of World War II. The game will also feature the battles of Guadalcanal and Tarawa, which saw heavy casualties on both the Japanese and American sides.

Unlike the regular version, the Director’s Edition of Pacific Assault will come on a DVD and feature a patrol boat's worth of extras, including: six video featurettes, ranging from historical documentaries to making-of footage; two interactive applications; and an exclusive in-game mystery weapon.
