Gold - Need for Speed Underground 2

EA sends word that Need for Speed Underground 2 is gold, and the cross-platform illegal racing sequel will cruise into stores on November 15:

"This is a quick note to let you know that Need for Speed Underground 2 under the EA GAMES brand has gone gold for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and PC. The title will ship to retail outlets nationwide on Monday, November 15th.

The sequel to the best-selling EA console game of all time (the original Need for Speed Underground has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide), Need for Speed Underground 2 challenges gamers to uncover the tuner underground in a massive free-roaming city spanning five distinct, interconnected neighborhoods and more than 125 miles of race-ready asphalt.

imo....the demo exceeded the original....although the drift section in nfsu2 is dramatically different.but i do hope the full version lives up to expectations.....how dramatic were the car physics in the demo compared to nfsu.

yes graphically its much better, but im more interested in long term playability, car modding etc, hard to tell from a demo that small. hope so.

agreed....just a pity the demo did not give enough insight to the car upgrades etc....

The only thing that used to annoy me about NFSU was hitting a lamppost @ top speed and you stop dead, don't spin off or owt and you get stuck for a few seconds trying to get going, i'd always do it on the last bend before winning or summit, sadly it happened to me on the demo, so i fear it'll be the same, still gonna buy it tho, i really enjoyed modding my car up, and drag racing rocks.

I'm looking forward to this one, that demo was decent, I just hope there's much more customizing to be had in this sequel...

On a side note... did they pack EVERY release they could possibly put out into the first half of November? Geez...
