COMPETITION: Design a Driverheaven logo

Well to celebrate our first six months in operation coming up soon, I have a fun competition for all the members.

I want to see your graphic skills in designing a main Driverheaven logo (like the one running along the top of our site). The winner will get a computer game of his/her choice and possible inclusion of the logo on the site.

The competition is now open and ill close it on the 30th November 2002, winners will be announced shortly afterward.

Lets see your artistic skills !

Entries for the Driverheaven logo/namestyle logo should be submitted in email as a major graphic format, meaning an attached, jpg, tiff, eps, bmp or if you wish, a multilayered Photoshop document (with rendered font layers) to me at zardon@zardon.net. please do not post entries in this thread, only questions or comments directed to myself should be posted in here. Competition is also open to staff members, meaning moderators and supermoderators, but not the administration team.

Once the competition is over ill be announcing the winner along with a thread of the entries submitted to myself, the game prize will be sent anywhere in the world, postage covered by myself.

What are the size constraints, if any?
Or is there a set size of the logo that you want?

imho, the current logo takes up a bit too much space..
not saying that it's bad, it's just too big to be a logo for me. =)

If someone creates different color logo, will colors be changed?

Do you want a complete redesign of DH logo, or do you want that 'DH' circular part to stay the same?

ok let me try and answer everything in one post.

The DH logo as the basic shape stays as its our site identity but you can mess around with it to your hearts content.

With regards to colour schemes I would like the colours like the current site scheme, therefore a blue feel. and yes im sure I have the logo in PSD format somewhere, and if I dont im sure Cyborg does, those who need it, just email me.
