Halo 2 and San Andreas top watchdog group's 'most violent' games list
ESRB ratings and lax enforcement of ratings by retailers to minors blasted by band of parent, church, and women's groups.
A five-member coalition representing a number of parent, church, and women's organizations, plus a New York City council member, issued what it calls a "10 Worst Violent Video Games" list today. The list is designed to help convey the consortium's plea to the game industry and retailers to better manage game ratings and the sale of products it feels have "blood-soaked and anti-social" content. _______________ Read More/Source: GameSpot

Read the rest of the article, the last paragraph made me break into a guffaw.
No offense to the "band of parent, church and women's groups", but when you go on an attack against video games and retailers selling them to minors instead of watching what your kids buy, it is a good idea to properly identify your targets and convey your message clearly. Other wise it just looks like "self ownage".

manhunt was violent as hell, but it was only a decent game at best. a good rental, but nothing more.
lol i just saw there list of recomended games... RECOMMENDED NON-VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES 1. Antigrave 2. EyeToy 3. Jak 3 4. Karaoke Revlution Vol. 3 5. Madden NFL 2005 6. Mario Power Tennis 7. Prince of Persia 8. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 9. SimCity 4 i just played the demo to PoP2 and if its anything like PoP then thats a damn violent game.... |

In other news:
It has been reported that a group of so-called "moralists" was paid off to endorse certain publishers' video games over other games claiming them to be less violent even when this was not indeed the case. And on a final note: Majority of Americans still found to have heads firmly stuck up their own asses. Thank you and have a pleasant evening. Some Mind Numbing Reality show is next. |

how is halo2 "violent" and catorgorised with all these other games??....dosn't seem to fit in with these other much more violent games...it's probaly because it's just one of the most anticipated games of the year
