Driverheaven Destruction

Well unfortunately Stuart "Veridian3" Davidson couldnt be here today to post this himself so ill do the honours.

Fire wasnt possible in the end however in a break between rain showers we've had the chance to play car Vs Geforce. Here for your optical enjoyment are a selection of pictures and video's of the destruction. Enjoy... (NOTE: We removed the shim from the core before the test to see what the weight of a car over the card would do to the core)

Yeah steven speilberg is doing the follow up with $10 million budget, should be better, still working out a deal for the use of Tom Hanks arm in the shots.

It does, with the help of some mods we are running it in SLI mode right now.

Well we didnt really think the name mattered really and does it? its meant to be a fun thing not an excuse for people to misinterpret it as an attack on a company

Yeah, but was the card dead or not? If it wasn't, it could've gone to better use a contest prize for the fans of Driverheaven. I would've much rather seen the card go to someone who needs an upgrade on their system rather than the card being run over.

this has been previously mentioned and by mentioned, i mean it's been howled a far bit in the last thread taking in suggestion on what to do. Driverheaven has provided MANY contests and has handed out MANY products for free. Why must everything be given out. It's Driverheaven's hardware, we can do what we want with it.

Yeah, but in my opinion people wouldn't see something like this as an attack on Gainward anyway (on Nvidia if anything

I don't know anyone who would destroy a working top-end card 'for fun', far more enjoyment to be had from actually using it. But I digress, this is just suspicious ol' me... please continue the destruction talk
