IBM Leaving Computer Business

Reports say that IBM put their PC Business up for sale. It is said that this deal could bring in around $2 Billion for IBM.

IBM's PC business accounts for about 10% of their over all sales, and are losing money. IBM has been in serious discussions with two major PC vendors, One of which is a Chinese company called Lenovo Group. The other was unidentified.

"By linking up with a heavyweight like IBM, vendors would logically think they could fend off any threat better," Ben Reitzes, an analyst at UBS Investment Research said.
