DH Review: Corsair Flash Voyager 512mb USB Drive
Stuart has been playing with a new toy recently.
"USB Drives have become something of a must have in the tech community, almost everyone I work with has one and I’ve noticed more and more recently that “ordinary” people are picking them up too. Whilst your average USB drive will have acceptable performance and function as advertised it’s always nice to have the best of the best, Corsair are renowned for their quality ram and when we heard they were releasing a USB flash drive we were keen to get a look at it and find out just what they could do with this technology. So today for review we have Corsair’s Flash Voyager USB drive…" read the review here |

well ... good review. You can't really say anything else about flash memory unless something really out of the ordinary comes out on the market ... right now it's all about size, looks and warranty.
Weird thing is in some places it says it comes with a 10-year warranty and in others it says Lifetime ..... either way anything over 3 years is fine... in 3 years they'll come out with memory....err..... implants.... or something Also... I saw it on tigerdirect for very cheap (starting at 30$ CDN for the 128mb one) if anyone's interested .... very good price indeed for such a high quality product as Corsair (the rolls-royce of computer memory) |

varies on area, and the prices are constantly changing. google is your friend.

good review......i don't think that the pen drive was in the water long enough though. If something is water resistant, make it work to its full extent.

Corsair arent marketing it as a scuba divers product, im sure the whole purpose of it being water resistant is to reassure people who are out journeying and who might get caught in the rain that it wont kill it. |

ya i was just confused between 10 years and lifetime .... either way in 2014 there's gonna be memory brain implants or retinal hard drives or whatever the hell lol .....
as for prices..... tigerdirect says: 128mb = 21.99$ 256mb = 34.99$ 512mb = 54.99$ 1024mb = 104.99$ i think the best bargain here is the 512mb ... less than 60$ and it's almost as big as a CD-Rom .... the 1gig is for hardcore people who carry around serious data like paintshop things, loads of digital pics and mp3s or about 20 years of university essays heh... I'm currently still using my old 128mb Sony Micro-Vault (usb 2.0) ... i store all my university files, work files and the most up-to-date drivers and anti-virus stuff in case my computer messes up .... |

My SimpleTech 256Mb flash drive is doing me nicely. I'm thinking about getting another one for the extra storage space since 256Mb is kinda on the small side for me. Might look into the 1Gb corsair for $100, seems like an awsome deal

I was planning on getting the visiontek flash drive, but the fact that this is from corsair and it has a little light makes me want to get this one instead =D
Yes...I was easily persuaded by the light. It's just so blue!! *_* |
