might be ready X800XL, X800 and X850XT PE cards

This finally means that ATI might start shipping its products after the announcement as X800XL, X800 and X850XT PE cards should be ready shortly. Taiwanese companies here said that for a change they can get those chips even now and that they are doing the last preparations before they launch the cards in retail. Their samples are either ready or will be shipped out very soon.

We were told that Dell is supposed to have X850XT PE already and when we checked its site we found is here, so Dell indeed has these cards listed. They are listed as 256MB PCI Express™ x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) ATI Radeon™ X850 XT PE. When you choose X850 XT PE in selected configuration Dell claims to deliver your system in less than a week, on January 13th.

They got an X800 at newegg now from powercolor. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...131-295&depa=1

But I think $450 is a little to much isn't this card supposed to be about $250?

ATI has the X800XL and X850XT PE on their site in the Pricelist the X850XT PE listed for $549.99 andthe X800XL is listed for $299 which I think is $50 dollars cheaper than the originally given price.

299 for x800xl has so far i know, always been the price mentioned, which really makes it a sweet buy and therefore a very good entry card for future pci-e motherboard owners.
