Default Post 6.4 million Halo 2s sold

Master Chief has been awfully busy these days. Microsoft today announced that the game starring the cybernetic soldier, Halo 2, has sold 6.4 million copies worldwide. The number launched the Bungie-developed title to the top of the Xbox best-seller list, passing the previous champ: the original Halo.

Halo 2 burned up the sales charts and logged more than 1.5 million preorders before its release November 9. The franchise has sold an impressive 12.8 million units, putting it in the same league as other best-selling series, such as Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto.

wow...halo 2 is a good game (i know there's lots of halo-haters)
personally, IMO, I like the game and especially it's online mode

most are use to PC MP games, but this is a good game especially for a console

Sorry to defile this thread's purity by being the first "non-2002" dude to post in it, but ah, I just had to get this off my chest.

I agree with Neon. I didn't see what was so special about Halo 2 when it came out, and I still don't now. My lil bro is practically crazy about it, but I'll only change if I got to play it on pc.

edit: the correct term was "got" not "get", sorry!

Well Neon you're right about money and the world and stuff, but anyway,
i do care about a PC conversion coz i liked the 1st one very much and i don't own a XBOX (i prefered GC indeed).

SO PLZ Mr Gates do me a favor

It's always good to see Bungie get some recognition - I'm a fan from the Marathon/Myth days - although I wasn't as impressed with Halo (PC).
