Patriot 512MB PC3200 TCCD RAM

There are many kinds of memory that can be found in the hardware world. However, most hard-core users tend to go with big brands like Corsair, OCZ, Mushkin, and other well known/high quality RAM manufacturers. But people have begun to be biased against RAM companies that aren't part of this popular group. This review will proove that sometimes the best isn't always the most well-known.

There are "no name" brands that most people would avoid. There are some quality "no name" brands that can be worth their weight in gold. Patriot is a distributer of TCCD module memory. TCCD (manufactured by Samsung) is considered by many to be the best memory that can be found in the world. In this review, we will benchmark a Patriot 512 MB PC-3200 RAM module against a Corsair XMS 512 MB PC-3200 module, one of the world's most popular gaming RAM modules. Think this is an unfair comparison for Patriot? Think not!

The guy really needs to redo the graphs, and review looks like somebody spent only an hour on it.

Hello Everyone,

I understand and appreciate all the comments. I have posted an update to the review mentioning that we are quite sorry for the "misleading graphs". At this point, we are going to leave the graphs up the way they are, but the note we left mentions that the graphs are relative, and that the actual scores should be takin into more consideration. Excel automatically changes the graphs to 'scale', but we will soon be switching graph tools anyways, so that shouldn't be a problem. Again, sorry for the inconveinience, and thanks for your comments!
