Microsoft to release 13 patches - including 3 critical on 8 February 2005

On 8 February 2005 the Microsoft Security Response Center is planning to release 13 patches including 3 critical for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Media Player, MSN Messenger, Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft SharePoint.

Microsoft will also host a webcast next week to address customer questions on these bulletins.

No patch for Internet Explorer? How come? It has a lot of gaping security holes (unless these are included in the Windows patches)
