Stick with jv16 1.4.1.248

I have tried jv16 PowerTools 2005 1.5.0.269-274, none of them are as stable as the old 1.4.1.248. Plus IMO the interface on the old one is far better.

The main thing I've noticed is that running a Snapshot of the registry, the Registry Monitor. If you snapshot the entire registry the program crashes...while in the old one it works fine.

Plus in 269-271 it could crash on a registry scan.

One time freeware, with the freeware users CONNED when the last few "freeware" versions were timebombed without any warning or information.

Contrast with the honourable behaviour here
http://www.martau.com/tu.php
Total Uninstaller - and the freeware version 2 actually REMAINS AVAILABLE.

What a difference - I'll never forgive the way JV betrayed the goodwill built up on the freeware history of "power tools", reminds me, I should add macecraft to my blocking list.
