When a company goes up against the iPod, it isn't just up against the hardware, it's about a lifestyle. That doesn't mean however that there isn't anything as good, or even better on the market, just that it hasn't yet developed that certain "aura". 3DVelocity look at the Zen Micro from Creative, a company who should know a thing or two about audio.
