Better late than never, we finally have our interview with the ever busy Matthew Tippett from ATI's linux section.
Driverheaven: And last, but not least. Is any official support scheme planned? DriverHeaven or Rage3D forums are a good start, and it seems that even the simplest form of official support would only convince users that ATI is truly serious about Linux. Matthew: As with our Windows CATALYST drivers we find that forums such as the ones found on driverheaven are actually the best way for helping out our end users. It allows both ATI employees and other forum members to help out others almost instantaneously so it's the best of both worlds. read the full interview here |
