Ubisoft ships Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

Ubisoft today announced that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory has shipped to retailers and will be available nationwide by March 31 on the Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and PC. An N-Gage version was released last week.

Chaos Theory follows the top-secret exploits of super-agent Sam Fisher as he attempts to stop terrorists from posing a threat to global stability. The game begins on a mission in Peru in 2007, but eventually leads to globetrotting for Fisher as he must help prevent North Korean and Chinese naval forces from decimating the Japanese coast.

This game is going to rock so hard. COOP PLAY?!!? GAH. I think I just came a little. >GSXR<mrbusa, how did you not love the old multiplayer? In my opinion, they've done the most innovative multiplayer in the FPS/3PS genre ever. I have to stop talking about it, I get too excited.

Yea, there was a multiplayer demo (beta, not CO-OP, but Versus. BTW, PT and CT are only 2v2), and there is a singleplayer demo.

About the MP, if the reasons you didn't like PT's MP was the lack of DM or Spy aggro tactics, then you will like CT's MP, but if not, you probably won't.

i dont know why,for some reason i like the shoot and run type of gameplay in multi play.im just not a stealthy type of guy.ill probably wait for cod 2.have fun.later

[color=DarkRed]The demo is really GREAT!....I really like the cloud's in the beginning.Purpleish-Black right on the sea.I have also noticed when Sam is "creeping up" to grab someone he's not hoping up and down like a bunny rabbit.This one is supposed to have not near as much"stelth action" and alot more of Sam taking care of business and shooting the bad guys.

Hawgs, the game rewards you for not killing anyone, you get a higher mission if you ghost it (I'm not sure about KO's). It was really easy to ghost the demo mission, I hope the rest of the missions are a bit harder.
