Computer games can slow aging of mind

Katherine Moskwin, 71, a retired medical transcriptionist, started noticing that her short-term memory was shot a while ago. "I'd go into a room and forget what I was coming for," she said. "I'd be dialing the phone and stop and say 'Who am I dialing?' " That's one reason Moskwin is trying a new software program from San Francisco's Posit Science Corp. that promises to help stave off and reverse some symptoms of aging, such as memory loss, declining vision and hearing, and reduced motor control.

i believe it.

i took a couple of months off from CS, now i go back in there and i feel like and old man. i can't aim right, i can't react fast enough, and my hearing is off...i've slowly been getting back into it, but i was thinking of declaring my retirement from CS.

on a side note, i took on some friends at a lan this week, i always start out horrible at those lans because all my friends play cs1.5 at college, and i play 1.6 and source. by the end of our time w/ CS i was ace'ing the team w/ headshots...man, i love 1.5...

on a side note, starcraft broodwars is a fun game :P
