The Matrix Online has its work cut out for it. The last two movies in the trilogy didn't quite measure up to most fans' expectations, and the franchise's only other video game incarnation was largely regarded as a poorly-wrought failure. It wouldn't be entirely off base to regardMxO as the The Matrix's last chance at continued relevance, a fact that doesn't appear to be lost on Warner Bros.
