sorry for making a negative post here but this expansion should be called "Star Wars Galaxies:The last stab at your wallet". Being an avid player for almost two years, this game has gone to hell in a handbasket and there is no saving it.

I dont think this will be the "last stab at your wallet". If you look at other MMOGs they always have multiple expansion packs, FFXI is on #2(technicaly only one in the USA, and i think that the Europe version comes bundled with all the expansions), EQ has more then i want to know, DAOC has 3 that you have to pay for, 5 if you include ones they offer for free, Planetside has 1 i believe.

This will probably be just the begining of expansion packs for SWG.

all those games you mentioned aren't SWG. SWG has been dying for a while now and SOE are trying to get what they can while they can. They put the "combat upgrade" into testing and its not the game SWG players paid for, theyre turning it into WoW, not that its a bad thing but why wouldn't i just play WoW? its a much better game. Its been messed up for a while with all the exploits and game breaking bugs and complete and utter lack of content, their idea of content is a mob that can constantly knockdown and dizzy you and take as long as 1 hour to kill.
