The Apple iPod Though The Eyes Of A 13 Year Old

Why the iPod Rules and Everything Else SUCKS

The Apple iPod. A lot of people use it now. It is great when you want to listen to music while you’re traveling or going somewhere and you can easily fit it into just about any pocket available. You probably won’t have to worry about running out of space on the iPod as it can hold from about 4000-10,000 songs. It’s like having a whole music collection with you everywhere with out the heavy, CD’s dragging you along.

You know how some MP3 players don’t hold that many songs? Well, there isn’t much space on there. My MP3 holds about 30-35 songs at the very most. As you can ‘read’, it doesn’t hold that many songs. Now let’s compare my MP3 to the iPod; 35 songs compared to 10,000 songs. Now don’t you think the iPod is much better than a plain old MP3 player? Yes, I know that the iPod is an MP3 player as well, but it holds much more and has more storage than almost anything else that you can listen to. What else is good about having 10,000 songs on your iPod? You rarely hear the same song twice, unless you want to, of course. You can put the iPod to repeat or shuffle or just regular ‘play’! You just keep listening and listening and just enjoy it! Also, it can literally hold your entire music collection. You won’t have to think about carrying those heavy CD’s around with you anymore!

do your reasons come from reading this article perhaps?

if some one didnt tell me before hand that this was written by a 13yr old, i couldve guessed so within the first page.

I can understand the idea of having a 13 year old writing an editorial... it has the potential to bring a fresh perspective. But for goodness sake let it go through the editing process at least once! I had no desire to read through a second page of that crap after main points were repeated several times.

Perhaps this is some kind of joke or parody?

Or perhaps the regular editor just didn't have the time to let one of his colleagues read-correct the usual way. Though the overal vocabulary seen there is not too uncommon among 20+ year olds on the net either. They just don't get published much.

Ah, but now after having glanced on the last page I get it. The kid is the offspring of the site founder, and few brave fathers can truly withstand a barrage of naggings from a teenage daughter. So then, all is forgiven.

Heheheh, I went back and read through the article and noticed that at the end too.

I still don't understand why the father didn't turn it into a learning experience for the kid though.

Something like, "If you're going to be taken seriously by your readers you need to avoid verbs like "suck" and to get your point across sound logical organization is key."

Meh, regardless it was still a good read for a wince and shake of the head.
