Dell to resell EMC's network-attached storage

Dell, working with partner EMC, said Tuesday it is chasing a new chunk of the midrange storage market, in a further challenge to joint rival Network Appliance.

Dell, the world's largest personal computer maker, plans to offer a so-called network-attached storage (NAS) gateway that lets customers connect both to other NAS storage systems and to dedicated networks known as storage area networks, or SANs.
