Cooler Master presents new liquid cooling technology - LC for the OEM market?
Cooler Master today announced a new liquid cooling technology primarily aimed at the OEM market. Liquid cooling is a method of heat removal that uses water to cool hot computer parts like processors. The big advantage of liquid cooling is that water has a higher specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity compared to air-cooling. Cooler Master claims that its new liquid cooling system will make water cooling easier.
Normally liquid cooling in computers consists of three primary components consisting of a CPU water block, a water pump and a radiator. In current computer systems, liquid cooling allows for quieter operation, improved over-clocking and improved heat capabilities which hotter processors can be supported. _______________ Read More: DVHardware |
