Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 Revision 2 Review by 3DXtreme

After installing the Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 Revision 2 GPU Cooler my load temperatures dropped an amazing 30 degrees Celcius! Idle temps dropped 8 Degrees Celcius. Not only did the Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 Revision 2 GPU Cooler make a huge impact on the working temperatures of this Video Card, but this cooler did it without being noisy like the stock cooler. In fact I could not even hear this GPU Cooler – suddenly the Connect 3D X850XT PE became my favorite Video Card – ever!

Arctic Cooling has a wide array of products available on their website including Silencers for just about any GPU on the market. My biggest concerns with the X850XT PE were heat and noise, the Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 Revision 2 GPU Cooler turned a card with concerns into the best Video Card I’ve ever owned. If you are tired of the noise or looking to lower the heat your Video Card is generating be sure to look for an Arctic Cooling Silence to suit your needs. This is an absolutely kick ass product, I really wish ATI would look into this as an alternative to the loud and ineffective stock X850 cooler.
