NVIDIA Announces High-Volume Availability of the GeForce 7800 GTX GPU

NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), a worldwide leader in graphics and digital media processors, today announced immediate availability of the NVIDIA® GeForceTM 7800 GTX graphics processing unit (GPU).

Starting today, consumers can purchase the highly-anticipated GeForce 7800 GTX GPU from the world's leading add-in card manufacturers at online retailers. In addition, an unprecedented number of PC OEMS and system builders have announced plans to build systems around the NVIDIA GeForce 7800 models of GPUs.

"We've never had such widespread volume availability of a GPU on launch day," stated Jeff Fisher, executive vice president of worldwide sales at NVIDIA. "Frankly, this breakthrough in availability is as significant as the breakthrough the GeForce 7800 GTX GPU makes in performance."
