Microsoft pays IBM $775 million to settle suit

"Microsoft paid IBM $775 million after both firms settled an outstanding case based on the Vole's antitrust case in the last decade. Microsoft has already paid both Novell and Sun chunks of money based around that antitrust case. IBM was overcharged for its software. IBM had claimed its action over pricing caused damage to its own software including the ex Lotus products Smartsuite and OS/2."
