Release of Clio NXT and Cathena Pushed Back

Data Evolution has announced that the release date for a pair of mobile devices running Windows CE -- the Clio NXT and the Cathena -- has been moved to the fall of this year due to engineering delays.

"We are working with our major customers, partners, and beta sites to transition to the new delivery date," said Robert Sowah, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. "We are fortunate that our business partners and customers understand that engineering delays can and do occur and that they remain confident that the new Clio and Cathena will create huge impacts in their respective markets."

The Clio NXT will be a cutting-edge device that skirts the line between handheld, laptop, and tablet PC.

It will sport a rotating screen that will allow it to either be used as a traditional laptop or as a tablet. It will include both a nearly full-size keyboard and on-screen handwriting recognition.
