CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a freeware system optimisation tool. That removes unused and temporary files from your system - allowing it to run faster, more efficiently and giving you more hard disk space. The best part is that it's fast! (normally taking less that a second to run) and Free.

I rate it very highly. I always load it onto the PC's I build for friends. Never had any complaints.

And I'd rather frequent updates than not enough!

I love this program, been using for quite some time now. I even run it on every computer I meet during my work. It's so clean(i have only visible clue of the program right mouse click on recycle bin.). Liveupdate would be nice tho.

I love the program and I use it, it's just annoying to constantly update it. If he's going to just keep adding in program definitions he should figure out some sort of update service.
