First Look: Microsoft Media Center Edition Keyboard
Ever wanted a keyboard that could deliver something other than the same old layout with uninteresting keys. Well, look no further as Microsoft may just have the answer for you. As you can already tell, Microsoft has specifically designed this keyboard for its Windows XP: Media Center Edition application. According to Microsoft, you can "effortlessly control all kinds of digital entertainment. Launch digital media, surf the Web, watch movies, and send instant messages from up to 30 feet away with this wireless keyboard, mouse, and remote."
Throughout the keyboard, you will notice numerous keys for Microsoft’s Media Center functionality. Similar to today’s stylish standards, the keys are backlit to make them viewable under dim lighting conditions. Furthermore, there’s also a "Windows" key that will launch the exclusive features for the Media Center Edition. They took a keyboard....and a remote....and glued the remote's buttons all over the keyboard....and declared it a good idea
