DOOM Movie Full Trailer

Well, I think many of us can recall the years and years that have gone by where the topic of the DOOM movie has come up and gone away countless times. It seems the time is finally here now and we just got a hold of the full 2 minute trailer which shows off some of the first person footage that looks to be featured a number of imes in the movie. Here it is, the full trailer and a couple of grabs of that first person perspective.

Although it could turn out to be a good movie, all i get from the trailers is that if your looking for a movie based on doom, this is not going to be it. No portals to hell, a squad, instead of a single marine, and then they just have monsters thrown in that look like the doom monsters, very disapointing :\

but like i said, it may be a good non-doom movie

im seeing it as more of the bastard son of Doom and Resident Evil.

Monsters and first person perspective scenes look good but a doom movie without hell in the plot??? It would be like HL without the Xen or even like Call of duty without nazis...what the hell is this Uwe Boll thinking???

Uwe Boll is not involved in this movie, not directing or script or other things.
I think this could be a good movie (for a game-conversion). I also like that the monsters are not cg at all (the pinky was cg i think)

I was skeptical about the movie when they first released footage of it. (Seeing only Dwayne Johnson and no real Doom-esque features) After seeing Exclusive QuakeCon footage of the game though (Not trailer).. I was impressed. It's turning out to be quite possibly the best videogame-to-movie conversion to date.

To me, Doom isn't just about the portal to Hell.

P.S - The pinky was CG. Imp is a mix of CG and costume. And why hasn't anyone done a movie in first person before?

And i also like less CG in monsters, Alien 1 and 2 didn't need fancy computers to be awesome.

Is it just me but the film reminds me alot of 'aliens' even seems to have the noise of the aliens in it... but ill give the film some credit for the 1st person views but other than that nothing to shout about

first person perspective scenes look stupid. why in the world did they put the gun in center view, this is not a video game nor is that how first person perspective look like real world. have any of you hold a knife under your nose ?
