E-Photo Management Service Expands

DotPhoto announced this week that it is offering its digital "photo-catching" service to allow almost any camera-phone user to send photos a cell phone directly to an online DotPhoto account.

DotPhoto Inc. announced Wednesday that it has expanded the service to include several major cell phone carriers, including Verizon Wireless, Cingular/AT&T, Sprint/Nextel Communications and T-Mobile, according to a recent news release.

"This is not a new service, but in the past we've only been able to work with one major carrier," said David Alecock, vice president of marketing for DotPhoto.

"Now we've extended our capability to four major carriers to cover a much wider footprint of people in the U.S."
