AMD today announced its sponsorship of “The 64 Second Film Contest,” providing digital media enthusiasts an opportunity to invent and share digital creations defining the concept of “Waitlessness” in 64 seconds. AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 dual-core processors “shatter the hourglass,” taking content creation and multimedia performance to an all new level. With the help of AMD64 multi-core technology, digital content creators can create more and spend less time waiting for their computers to render videos and perform other multimedia tasks. Winners will be chosen through a combination of online voting and judging with DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. Online submissions will be accepted beginning Oct. 10, 2005 at www.64seconds.com.
