I saw this guy on TLC one time......his nickname (alias) was Captain Zap...He broke into AT&T via modem and changed their computer clocks so that 12:00 am was really 12:00pm so all the AT&T people got cheap long distance.

I didn't think that Captain Zap was Kevin Mitnick... Is he, really?

Never heard of Captain Zap. I knew about Capt. Crunch though - real old timer, retired from the phreaking nowadays, but with that kind of brilliant mind, who can really say if its over? If only script kiddies never existed,,,

Yeah, Captain Crunch was a phone freaker. Him and Steve Wozniak (creator of Apple) were friends. I saw that on a tv special on TLC.
