DH Review: EZ Power Supply Tester 2
With the power supply being one of the most important parts of a computer, you cannot afford to install a damaged or defective unit. Corrupted data, blue screens of death, and even severe system damage can result from incorrect power being supplied to your computer.
Encased in sturdy aluminium, the EZ Power Supply Tester allows you to check the power from your 20pin or 24pin motherboard, 8pin, 6pin, 4pin and SATA connections. LED indicators let you know if power is being supplied on each voltage rail and a master PG LED informs you of the overall result. read here |

Nice review guys, and thank you - I have a couple PSU checkers in the shop and they only have the capability to check the 20pin ATX connector. This is the most full featured unit (because of the different connector variations - SATA, P4, PCIe - all the new stuff) I've seen in the 'value' checker category. Because of y'alls review, I'm probably gonna get one of these for the shop (and thanks too for the link to a vendor) and the price is great - low enough to just toss in with a parts order...
No one makes one that does a quick check on the older (proprietary wiring) Dell supplies though that I've seen, so I'll guess I'll make an adaptor - just one of those things I've been meaning to do - like number 15 on the priority list...

Nice review,
I'm waiting for someone to come out with one that doesn't just have LEDs for the rails. But actually have the voltage displayed. Rathar the just saying it has power, it could have to much or two little. Wich still leaves you testing with a voltameter. I'd like to see the need to use a voltameter removed or at least provideing some fast and easy testing points on the tester it self. I personally like to see the exact voltage being fed when trouble shooting a PSU.

Yeah, I agree that would be nice - interfaced to a digital readout meter instead of only LEDs - should be able to make that for, $20 (US) retail. Digital voltmeters are really inexpensive nowadays...
