I was actually chatting with Tony Leach in OCZ last night, aka "bigtoe" who helped ATI design this motherboard and there are apparently some issues with sustained USB rates, not burst rates with the chipset and the current revision.

What about the 60hz problem? Is it present? If so, then ATI has flopped bigtime.

The benches look god, the % increase by adding another card is fair, but if there is a 60hz problem and problems with I/O, maybe they should have waited to these bugs were fixed.

Releasing a product with big flaws can backfire.

You can't "unlock" this limitation. It's caused by the slave card and not by the master card or CE. Single master card shouldn't have this limitation.

yep. unless you got a kickass 22" crt. but how many of us have those.
what cracks me up is that a large pecentage of people buying these great cards have halfass monitors. & improperly adjusted.

1600x1200 crt moniters are not very expensive when compared to LCD's nowadays. I'm goin LCD because I don't really feel like I need 1600x1200 and I want the direct DVI connection, not a VGA adapter. When 1600x1200 LCD screens come down in price to like 300 then I will buy one.

Excellent preview guys, although imho the hardware limitations are absolutely devastating for a dual card setup.

So Mr ATI, where can i buy one of these?

Newegg? No

ATI webite? No

Any website on the net? NO!

Hmm, me think ATI are screwing us again with yet ANOTHER paper launch. Probbaly another 6 months before they are available in retail channels.
