Developers Jump to Promise Support for Windows Mobile Treo

Following Palm, Inc.'s and Microsoft's announcement of the first Treo running Windows Mobile, numerous third-party software developers have promised to release versions of their applications that are compatible with this upcoming smartphone.

One of the bigger names is Astraware, one of the largest developers of games for mobile devices.

"We are delighted that Astraware will be supporting our use of this new operating system on our devices," said Paul Leeper, director of Developer Relations at Palm, Inc. "We have shared a long and successful relationship with Astraware, and we believe that the availability of their games for our new line of Treo smartphones will provide a great user experience."
