In the past, powerful graphic cards usually come with huge and noisy cooling fans, but the X800XL uses the new 0.11um fabrication process that generates less heat. At the same time, Gigabyte's Silent Pipe cooling technology gives you more efficient cooling, thus a small fan is all it needs to keep the GPU cool.
