ATI has X850 CrossFire Edition cards in stock

Now, you all know it's been a while, and many have called CrossFire cards "vaporware", and other geeky synonyms of "non-existance", but apparently ATI's own shop has X850 CrossFire Edition cards in stock.

Don't believe us? See for yourself here. Priced at $399.

Now, the only thing missing from the equation is a CrossFire enabled motherboard, and let's see if that's coming (which we sure all hope it is).

Update (Thanks to StuRReal): Apparently, www.overclock.co.uk carries (one brand of) CrossFire motherboards in stock made by EQI, and while the quality of such may be questionable, it could be a sign that others will be following soon. It has DFI board listed, however the ETA is not known.

EQS crossfire boards are available from www.overclock.co.uk, so the motherboards are in stock i've no idea if these boards are any good tho.

so we get the board from canada and the mobo from the uk. Yep thats an improvment

BTW, Ati extended their $100 off for a master card, so the X850 is only $299

They've bben on newegg.com for about a week and shop.ati.com like 2-3 weeks
was a crossfire mother board on newegg just the other day
