Gold - Combat Elite: World War II Paratroopers

Combat Elite Targets Gold on IGN has news that the edition of Combat Elite: World War II Paratroopers is gold, and due in stores next month, with the BattleBorne Entertainment Website further narrowing this to November 22 (thanks Frans). The announcement covers the Xbox and PS2 editions of the game, as well as the PC port, the announcement of which seems to have fallen between the cracks at the time. There are more details about this on Gamecloud, where they clarify the soap opera that surrounds the game's publishing history. Word from the announcement is:

Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers is a third-person action game set during World War II, beginning with the D-Day invasion of France when paratroopers were dropped behind enemy lines ahead of the Normandy landings to support the Allied assault on Germany's "Fortress Europe." The game uses the Snowblind Engine (Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance) and supports both single-player and two-player co-op modes.
