Korea Times reports that Samsung President Lee Ki-tae, in a recent meeting with technology analysts, has demonstrated a cellular phone with a built-in 8 megapixel camera. The phone, called the SPH-V8200, is the bigger brother of their five-Megapixel SCH-S250 that was launched last November. Unfortunately, that phone along with the upcoming version will only be available in Asia.
In addition to having an 8-megapixel sensor, the phone will have a full color LCD monitor and auto focus. Lee Ki-tae also told analysts that Samsung is working on a 10 GByte phone to debut next year. Samsung's 3 GByte SPH-V7900 phones were launched just last month.
There are no details on when the SPH-V8200 will be available.
