Samsung SP2504C - Half a Terrabyte of SATAII RAID 0
Synthetic tests show a large improvement over a SATA interface, but these SATA II drives just don't show their power in the real world. Don't get me wrong, they are great drives, and backed by a three year warranty. Maybe I hoped for too much, but at the very least they should be able to take down a set of SATA drives from Hitachi.
These drives are still a solid choice if you want a large amount of storage in a RAID situation or in a single drive configuration. They aren't the fastest drives around but they're quiet, cool, and do perform quite well. Read More / Source: Ben's Custom Cases |
