Asus A6Va Notebook Review

The Asus A6Va is nowhere near the best looking machine on the planet, but if you're a student studying in London, the last thing you want is to attract the attention of others by displaying a flashy looking thousand pound investment (thieves love laptops here, can't get enough of them). I would say this machine looks somewhere between an Acer Aspire 1690 series, and a HP Business Notebook PC Essential series (nx8220 for example)..

I have this same exact laptop chassis with different insides (it's just the A6, not A6Va). Mine has onboard video, turion mt processor, and a gig of ddr ram.

This laptop is great. I use it for developing so not having a video card was a requirement for me (no distractions). I got it for exactly 1250 USD. The video card, hard drive, and memory are probably what increases the cost of the one in the review.

I don't know what it's like in europe, but the laptop draws attention on school ("hey what's that?" "asus makes laptops?").

Just another positive vote for asus laptops.
