George Best has died

It is not often we post nontech related news on Driverheaven, but today im going against the grain to post my respects for the world's greatest football player (soccer to you USA guys).

George Best was born very near to where I live and for many years excited football fans the world over with his stunning technique and skill, im sure we will see tributes popping up all over the world.

He was also it has to to said a very nice man indeed and never lost the down to earth nature so common with the Irish people.

My thoughts are with him and his family and I can safely say he will be sadly missed.

I remember George Best, he played for the SJ Earthquakes, and quite well! May he Rest in Peace.

Just sorry to see a very talented player sort of ruin his life and end his career early due to alcoholism..

George Best, a famous drunk who was also pretty good at football.

May there be Booze, Birds and Balls up there (or down there) for him.
