I was seriously considering getting one of these Personal Cinema cards, but it is very expensive, and the card it is based upon is only a Geforce4 440MX! It won't have the performance that the 8500 AIW will have, much less the 9700 AIW, so I think that unless they declare an nv30/nv31 version of Personal Cinema, I'm going to have to cross over to the dark side and get a 9700 AIW

I have a Geforce4 MX440 and a tv card, with a really good PVR software (Intervideo WinDVR) and I must that it really kicks ass! DVD playback is sufficient with my PowerDVD XP. So, there's not much interest in the personal cinema for me.

ULtRaXP has a point. You don't need massive GPU power to do video. You need horsepower for playing games - not video (thats 90% CPU)
