LG and Casio to introduce waterproof cellular phone

The new CanU 502S mobile phone has rubber seals and gaskets to protect the phone against water. All of the external ports like the audio and batteries port can also be sealed up. South Korean customers will be able to purchase the phone for $500 USD.

The phone is also shock-proof and will have a 2.2 inch LCD screen, 1.3-megapixel camera and 256 MegaBytes of memory.

Unfortunately there are no plans for LG and Casio to bring the CanU 502S over to the United States.
