EVGA steps up exchange programme

"Step up soldier is the key message of one of Nvidia's partners. EVGA is one of the few companies that will let you change your old graphic cards for new ones.

The buyers are allowed to change graphic cards within 90 days from the purchase. You only need to pay the price difference plus tax and shipping and handling. For example, if you paid $500 for a Geforce 7800 GTX 256 card you were theoretically suppose to pay additional $150, send your old card back and then get a new 7800 GTX 512 card.

The only other alternative for these performance greedy users was to sell the card on Ebay or to friends and then use the cash to buy a new card.

We would like to see such a offer in Europe but we don’t think it will come that soon. Sorry but so far this only works in the USA and here are the details."
